I'm super happy & content with this book 1 and book 2 that i also bought. Both really complement & suplement each other in providing pure enjoyment in playing at the same time giving me stronger finger/wrist power, greatest playing precicion, teaching me to play the entire BIG HANON 60 BOOK after I finish these 2 books, these books 1 & book 2 provide the very best foundation to make it very easy to totally MASTER THE BIG STANDARD 60 STUDIES. learning these Schaum 60 studies is easier because all of the studies are in 1/8th notes, and start out at Elementary then progress to Late Intermediate, have all of the work to truly make your fingers, wrists, forarms, elbows, and shoulders really flexible and super powerful. I alternate doing these Schaum Hanon with my Czerny & Repertorie every other day, helps balance my time schedual & rests my body.... these are the very best for me now as an older Late Elementary pianist. This gives fantastic results and pure fun & delight:)
