Nessessary ?
I, as a teacher, just photo copy Bachs inventions and ask students to write the name of the note over the staff. If its goes to a ledger line I tell them to circle it (as we dont go that far yet). I find this book UNnessessary.

Confusing Order
The Note Spellers and Theory Lessons are supposed to go with the course books as follows:Pre A = Theory 1A = Note Speller 1B = Theory 2C = Note Speller 2D = Theory 3E = Rhythm SpellerF = Harmony 1G = Harmony 2

Note Speller Book One
A terrific book to use on its own or as a supplement with other theory books. I usually use Fundamentals Of Piano Theory by Keith Snell. This is a great supplement to use with that since both have things the other doesnt. This way, students get the full complement of knowledge they need to become well-rounded musicians.

Wish I would've known sooner.
What a great way for kids (and adults) to learn piano notes. I wish I would've known about this book a year ago when my kids started piano. It's the way to go.

Schaum Notespeller Book One
I am a piano teacher and have been using this for years. I also was a student that learned out of this and it was really helpful. I like to use it in the beginning and then follow up with the Schaum Theory books as well. It was has really helped my students with the note reading and with reading sharps and flats as well.

Note Speller
A great teaching tool. It blends notes, values and what students learned in step by step learning and review. A must for any piano teacher.

Note Speller Book One
I have found the Note Speller to be a useful tool in teaching piano. The repetition and different note/name name/note excellent. The slogans are also very helpful to students.
