Stefan Wolpe
Stefan Wolpe was a remarkable composer mostly during the first half of the 20th century. The Four Studies are fascinating works; the 4th of which, a Passacaglia, is a real masterpiece, that once heard will be hard to forget. Whether a performer or just a listener, the $10 it cost me was well worth it.
