amazing in every sense
The Simply series allows the intermediate player to enjoy professional sounding arrangements. (No, these are not easy piano pieces!) Dream a Little Dream of Me and My Funny Valentine are the best. Left hand is challenging but not outrageous throughout the book. A bit too much pedaling is recommended, though. Even Over the Rainbow, normally a dreary, tiresome song, sounds fresh here. Notation is large and readable.

Simply Standards
I'm really enjoying this so far. The songs included are great choices and the arrangements are (for me) challenging but not crazy difficult. I'm looking forward to learning many of them. Would recommend highly.

WOW! These are some of the freshest and most accessible arrangements I've seen of some of my favorite standards! When I Fall in Love is stunning, along with Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Such rich and lush harmonies. I've found a real Gem here! Thanks Mike Springer!

excellent! I play piano at 2 local hospitals. Most people prefer standards, big band era--30's and 40's.
