Excellent for Intermediate Students

Useful Accompaniment, Note the Lack of Lyrics
As a vocal coach, this 'Easy Piano' collection offers a clear, supportive accompaniment texture for Vince Guaraldi's iconic pieces. The intermediate difficulty (SMP Level 4) provides a good harmonic framework. While it doesn't include the song lyrics (important for vocalists), the arrangements are excellent for instrumental practice or for accompanying singers who already know the material. A charming, well-arranged book.

So Much Fun to Play!
I absolutely love this collection! Playing Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas music on my piano has been a joy. The 'easy piano' arrangements, at an intermediate level (SMP Level 4), strike the perfect balance—challenging enough to feel rewarding, but totally achievable for a weekend player. Beautiful arrangements at an approachable level
I'm so appreciative that this collection of songs are available at several levels of difficulty.
I've really enjoyed learning and playing some of my favorite songs from this collection (Christmas Time Is Here and Linus and Lucy). I'm an adult learning piano for almost 3 years, and the songs have been very challenging for me (in a positive way) at my stage in piano. To my ear, these arrangements beautifully keep the essence of the songs but at an approachable level of technical difficulty. I've learned a lot about piano and the jazz from these arrangements. Nostalgic Christmas music
This is a fun book that brings back memories of a simpler time of home spun wisdom from charlie Brown and his gang. It is good for anyone, but I would not recommend it for beginners. I think the pianist needs to be early intermediate or intermediate to play these songs.

FABULOUS!
Bought for my 11 yr old grandson who is quite talented and loves this book!! It was just the right complexity for his piano playing. He loved it as did his teacher!

Great Intermediate Book
I am an adult learner who took lessons for a few years and now I just play on my own for my own pleasure. Like many people, I love the music from this Christmas classic and was excited to see an easy level music book. I would personally say it's more of an intermediate than an easy book. But I am totally engrossed in it and it is both challenging and encouraging me to keep up my piano practicing. I would highly recommend it for anyone who has had 1-2 years of prior experience. I would not recommend it for true beginner.

great book!
we love this music and found this to be a good level to learn these songs at, although there is a range of levels in this book probably from elementary into intermediate. the jazz influence throws an additional learning curve into some of the pieces. overall a great book & our son has played over 2 holiday seasons now & while he's currently playing at level 4-5 intermediate.
