Wonderful, beautiful arrangements
As a piano teacher, I can say that much of this music is more difficult than level 10 Repertoire books. Those who say it's intermediate to advanced may not have taken a look at leveled music for a while. If you are shopping for a student, you need to know this. It's for someone who can play stride piano and complex chords in many keys. Some of the harmonics will make a student do a double-take. This book is a treasure if you can read and play it. It will be very challenging for most.

Difficult to play but worthwhile
Just about anything written by Dave Brubek is first rate, and this collection certainly fits the bill. The pieces are not easy to play, however, and the tonalities can be unusual in places - the mark of Dave Brubek.
