Absolutely love this 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' collection! Playing Vince Guaraldi's iconic jazz pieces, especially 'Christmas Time Is Here,' is pure joy. As an adult learner, the SMP Level 7 (Late Intermediate) difficulty is a fun challenge, making me feel like I'm really 'sounding like the record.' The Peanuts illustrations add a nice touch. This collection is superb for students at an SMP Level 7 (Late Intermediate). The arrangements of Vince Guaraldi's classics, like 'Linus and Lucy,' provide great rhythmic challenges and reinforce jazz phrasing. The engraving quality is clear, aiding sight-reading, and while some sections feature 4-5 note chords and octaves, it's a rewarding book for developing expressive playing. Highly recommend for holiday repertoire!

This collection is a MUST for all pianists who are fans of Charlie Brown Christmas and all the Peanuts gang! The arrangements stay true to the show. Unless you are an accomplished jazz pianist, don't expect to sit down and play without some practicing. A nice challenge for non-jazz musicians.

My intermediate/more advanced students have really enjoyed these arrangements. Some of the jazzy sections are quite challenging but the option is there to skip them.

The Charlie Brown CHristmas arrangements are challenging pieces, but well worth spending time to learn. The arrangements are very satisfying and the collection was extremely useful for the holiday party entertaining I did this year. I recommend it highly and look forward to playing them agian next Christmas!
