Getchell Is Great
I've used this book with countless trumpet students for more than 20 years. It's the best out there if you are looking for musical development. Getchell came from the days when teachers knew what they were doing. He carefully leads the student up the musical ladder from beginner to intermediate in a series of engaging etudes (and further in book two in the series).
