yes, it is the music of spain
this book is so thick and it's almost impossible to keep the pages open. i tried to get the binding cut and a spiral put in place but the tech at Staples said the binding was too narrow and if he cut it some of the printed page would be cut. consequently I have not even tried to play any of this. impossible to keep the book open. Excellent compilation of Spanish Piano Music
This volume has everything you need to enjoy playing Spanish piano music. Ithaca all the greatest hits of Granados and Albeniz.

Appalled at cover
I am appalled that the illustration on the cover of this beautiful music speaks of a facet of Spanish life which is unspeakably cruel and to be deplored. To inflict harm and a prolonged death on living creatures in the name of sport is barbaric and should have no place in the arts, regardless of 'tradition' or how long it has been going on. Enlightened towns in Spain no longer hold such spectacles and whether intended or not, to reproduce such an illustration is a form of advertisement.
