This piece is older, but it is timeless. There are other pieces similar to it, but I think Glover does it best. This usually fits a method level 3-4 student. It sounds more difficult than it is to learn. I take students through one chord per measure to learn the progressions and patterns. It will ease the difficulty of reading. Lots of blocking practice with the arpeggios, too. Love the contrast between A and B sections of this piece.

Big Sound, Late Elementary Level
This is a beautiful and impressive sounding piece that will be relatively easy for students who are at the end of a level 2 or the beginning of a level 3 method book. It is also a great learning piece for teaching notes off the staff. I highly recommend.

Great Smoky Mountains
I have been giving this to students for over 40 years and have yet to find a student who doesn't love it. Boys or girls, kids, teens or adults. It is fun to play and impresses the audiences. A truly great supplemental piece. Another Glover student favorite at an easier level is The Hunters.
