Excellent Third Grade Book
Grade 3 of this course is excellent. Each piece is selected for a purpose: a particular skill, concept, or type of interpretation. There are pieces to develop velocity, to train finger changes, and to teach types of style. Many favorites are in here, but the course provides a balance of pieces from all historic periods. The book attempts to teach ornamentation much better than other books.The series is very compatible with other courses, so switching to this one happens easily. I have often done so.
