Best beginning book ever!
This book was published in 1939. It has some basic beginning instruction about finger names and notes for 5 notes in each hand above and below middle C. There is one song that covers 2 pages, the same melody written 5 ways. 1) C UP DOWN UP DON UP DOWN__. 2)NOTES with up and down written. 3) Letter names with the melody shape given, middle C is written lower than D, etc. 4. Notes on the staff and 5. Finally the tune has words added. Later the melodies have 6 different patterns with the finger numbers added. It is hard to explain. Buy it for your beginner students, you will not be sorry!
