Excellent edition
Beautifully edited with excellent page turns. The real bonus is getting the earlier C minor version of the Overture. Excellent fingerings also.

Fascinating, courteous edition
There are two things to recommend this edition. First, it provides the earlier C-minor version of the French Overture which differs in details and in ornaments from the later B-minor. Some of the differences are based on the Bach relying on lower notes being available for the C-minor so you get some richer bass passages. This could inform decisions you make with the B-minor.Second is the pagination. By allowing the Courante and Sarabande to each occupy an entire two page spread, the da capos for the Gavottes, Bourrees, and Passepieds can all be played without page turns. No other edition does this, and it is annoying in all other editions.The fingerings are sporadic, occasionally antique. I prefer Henle's.
