A timeless piece of music
I already own a number of versions of this piece written for piano but have found them to be too ornamented, I suppose in an attempt by the arranger to make them sound more orchestral. The version I purchased as a digital download recently is a fairly accurate transcription of the original. It isn't a difficult piece of music but I believe the manner in which the dynamics are expressed and the control of the tempo are elements that make the difference between just hearing Canon in D and hearing a delicious and sensitive interpretation of the piece.

Easy to play
It's easy to play if you have grade 4 or above. It would be even easier if you are familiar with chord symbols.

Canon in D download
Liked it less as I reached page 4.Bought an alternative published version by post.(arranged by Dan Coates).The only advantage of downloads is speed. I like to see a professionally printed copy.
