A fine piece of music, although a bit long for my purpose. I didn't like how the music was loose and not stapled together, which makes turning pages difficult.

I have used Robert Schultz's arrangement of this piece for 22 years, both teaching it and playing it myself, particularly for church weddings and preludes. I think it is the best arrangement I have ever found. It is not too difficult to learn for a late-intermediate to advanced student, and it sounds magnificent.

I love the song, and it's a decent arrangement, but I just find that it sounds better on the strings. It's a beautiful piece, but because it's arranged off of the 4 voices of the strings, there are lots of octaves on top of the chords that my hands cannot reach. Also, it seems very long, but I also believe that the original is as long. I love the song, and I enjoy playing this, but I always take a cadence, add a little on to it, and end the song early. That's the best way to go.
