Overlap w Adult Piano Adventures
These easy arrangements are great for a beginner like me who is learning to play on my own during the pandemic. I love playing familiar pieces. They build on the skills from level 2B, with slightly more playing out of five finger position. However, it was disappointing that of the 14 arrangements, 2 are identical to the ones in the other Faber piano adventures book I bought, plus 2 are also in the lesson book.

My students really enjoy the Classics series. They are well-arranged, simplified classics for students. For most of my students, this is an introduction to classical music. If I tell them they are classics, some turn up their noses, but if I just assign the music and help them learn the music, they decide it is fun. Yay!
