RIDICULOUS
There are several flaws with this book. Immediately it indicates the adult student is handicapped because they are an adult. If you read the forward, it will make you laugh. I've interviewed several hand surgeons and they say the statements in this book are not true. I was surprised that the authors allowed their names to be indicated on this book. I have taught adult students for 40 years and have never seen anything described in the forward. 1. There are no muscles in the finger. This book states their exercises will make the fingers stronger.2. It states adult hands, fingers, and wrists are stiff and rigid. I have interviewed several hand surgeons and they state only if there is chronic arthritis. What might be stiff and rigid is the brain because it is not used to the coordination required as with any new task. 3. It states holding your breath limits oxygen to the fingers. Obviously they haven't checked with medical expertise on this subject.
