Were You There?
This is a dramatic arrangement of the lovely Spiritual Were You There? After 30 years with no music in my life, due an accident, having songs like this available to me now, is a real blessing. This unusual but beautiful arrangement, I can recommend wholeheartedly. It's exquisite in it's simplicity. I love the old Spirituals, they contain so much emotion and desperation and hope. The people who wrote these old songs knew what it was like to endure through life's trials and they felt the joy waiting for them on the other side. Give this beautiful arrangement a try.
