Utilizing rare M-G-M studio manuscripts and the original motion picture soundtrack, each song is presented in its original key. As a bonus, this unique collector's item includes two songs from the 1903 Broadway musical production of The Wizard of Oz, with lyrics by original Oz author L. Frank Baum. These songs have not been published in over a century. A Classic
This book is exactly what it says it is- The music from the movie. It is perfectly reproduced. Obviously there are changes when switching from an orchestra to a piano, but once you get past that, it's really fun to be able to sing the entire Munchkinland Musical Sequence (for instance) and have it be so similar to the original, a staple of my (and everyone else's, I think) childhood. A great addition to anyone's music collection.
