HMS Pinafore complete
All sorts of parodies of HMS Pinafore have been written and produced. I don't mind that, but it seems to me you need to know the original to enjoy the parody; otherwise, you're making fun of something you don't really know. This is not only the full score with an good piano reduction, it is all the full, complete performance script. It fills in an important part of musical theater history, of operetta history, and of Victoriana. Delightfully silly, at times musically brilliant, and this edition is not likely to fall apart. Follow along with a recording on YouTube or if you read scores, go to it. Either way, it's great fun.
