Outstanding edition,
There are several editions of JS Bach's Well Tempered Clavier, but this one is head and shoulders above the rest and well worth the price. I also have the Henkle Urtext, Peter's and Czerny's, but this one is my favorite. Bruno Mugellini (who happened to be Busoni's teacher) was obsessed with authenticity and provides helpful footnotes throughout. The themes in the fugues are clearly marked. Optional dynamics, pedalling and accents are provided and I find them in good taste. If I were forced to play only one book in for the rest of my life, this would be the one.
