Better impression!
I had a completely different experience with this arrangement! The scoring is thoughtful, and all parts, including the English Horn, are included and well-prepared.
The instrument ranges are appropriate and playable, demonstrating a clear understanding of their capabilities. I found no errors in the score—notes, dynamics, tempo markings, and lyrics were all intact. This arrangement was clearly crafted with care, not rushed. A standout performance at the Berlin Philharmonie by a renowned German orchestra showcases the high standard and playability of this piece. Should have done one more draft
Excited when I heard the arrangement, but after purchase discovered every part had issues. There is questionable scoring, and it come across like a college student's music theory composition project. Questionable instrument ranges, and whatever program the composer used did not check parts for errors (missing notes, letters from words, numbers from tempo markings). English Horn needed or plan to write out your own part for another instrument, as it gets the opening theme. Shame, because there is potential with this arrangement.
