Fun and Accessible Ragtime Learning
As an adult learner, I absolutely love this Ragtime Piano guide! It makes learning classics like 'The Entertainer' so enjoyable. Very obvious errors
I bought this book for my son, but it has been many years since I have played The Entertainer, so I thought I'd try to sit and play it. The first line has measures 1-4. The second line starts with measure 18 and ends with the first, then the second, ending. The third line starts with measure 38, a second ending), and continuing with section (or rehearsal number?) A2. It seems to be fine from the second sheet on (pages 23-26). I'll return my book tomorrow. It was disappointing, but also interesting to find a mistake like this. I have never had this experience with any music I have ever purchased before. I did not make it through the rest of the book or try any other songs, so the errors I noticed were not necessarily representative of the whole book.
