Great
I really enjoy this book of a Baroque and French composer I knew little of, Nicolas de Grigny. Edited by Wayne Leupold and others contributing articles on French Baroque music techniques and registrations, among other things, it is a scholarly-based book that leaves no stone unturned. From ornamentation explanations/tables and an overview of French Baroque music, it is a great book to own. And while it is fairly expensiveI got a great deal on thisI recommend this book highly to any organist who wants to play this music authentically and accurately. It takes some time to read through all the prefatory material, but in the end one feels as if you have truly learned something valuable.
