This book has the most amazing arrangements. They are all crowd pleasers. Some are a bit Jazzy and some more traditional. They are all wonderful!

Wonderful Arrangements
I've been playing piano for 60++ years and these are some of The. Best. Arrangements. Ever!!! Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and I'll be Home for Christmas are particularly lovely with a jazzy feel. Pieces are difficult enough to enjoy playing, but not requiring hours of practice. Mark Hayes is a superb arranger. Highly recommend this collection.

Not for pianists with small hands
Mark Hayes is one of the few arrangers that I purchase sight unseen. This book, though, is a disappointment because almost all the numbers have large chords in them. If you can't easily reach a ninth, especially with additional notes in the chord, you will want to bypass this collection.

Creative Arrangements
This collection of holiday tunes is for the advanced pianist. Modulating keys, arpeggios and big chords make for enjoyable listening. It's worth practicing to bring out the full potential of each selection.

Beautiful Pieces!
This is a challenging set of beautiful arrangements. These pieces sound amazing, and are worth the time in order to master them. Mark Hayes does beautiful work - and it is great to see a mix of secular songs to play anywhere! Definitely recommend this one.

Very nice arrangements! Love Popular Performer! The song choices are wonderful. My favorites are Toyland and Let There be Peace on Earth. I was excited to see Toyland in there.

I love it!
I got this book a few weeks ago and have had so much fun playing the great Christmas arrangements. I've been playing piano for 10 years and have come to be rather advanced. This book was at the perfect level of difficulty for me because they're hard enough to be beautiful and challenging yet easy enough to master within a few days. Mark Hayes is an amazing arranger. The pieces are interesting and are not so repetitive that they become boring. I especially love the arrangement of Sleigh Ride. This is an excellent asset to any advanced pianists Christmas collection!

Great
I love this book! I love 7 of the 10 arrangements and like the other 3. They are all appropriately jazzy and fun to play. Each composition is quite different from the others. Toyland is my favorite. I would rate this an 8 on a 10-scale. Most of the difficulty comes from rhythms (swing and lots of ties) and fingering on ornaments and cadenzas. Lots of chords and some fun glissandos. I love having a book of songs that the piano can sing without a singer.

Popular Christmas
Sleigh Ride is challenging for small hands. Toyland is lovely. Little Drummer Boy is a nice influence of African rhythms. Let There Be Peace On Earth is a show stopper. Let It Snow and It's the Most Wonderful Time are sheer fun. I'll Be Home for Christmas is a classic. It's Mark Hayes at his usual best.

Popular Performer Christmas Classics
Great arrangements - love this book. Every song is a winner especially It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. The music is just challenging enough to make it interesting but easy enough that a player does not have to practice for days and days to master. I love all of the books in this series.
