A nice surprise
I ordered this book just for one particular song, but am very impressed with the quality of the book as a whole. The music is high intermediate to easy advanced, some can be sight read and the rest easily attainable with practice. The arrangements are very well done and incorporate the original song with some nice jazz chords and interesting accompaniment. I appreciate that this is clearly written by a pianist with skill who doesn't expect the user to be qualified for the Van Cliburn competition - and I'm not saying that it's too easy, just that it isn't full of 32nd note arpeggios and six note chords. (A pet peeve of mine, because come on, who plays 40s and 50s love songs to show off their chops?)

Popular Performer 1940's and 1950's
Wonderful collection of the best of those years! Love it! The arrangements are a little advanced but with some personal modification, they still sound fine. Great collection with some of the best of that ear.
