Best Edition
This is the best edition of the Mozart sonatas currently available. It is scholarly and the the most authoritative certainly, however with the fantastic quality of a Barenreiter as well! Barenreiter offers impeccable binding (second only the Henle), beautiful engraving, paper and printing quality. And with their plastic coated covers actually last longer than Henles (unless you buy a hardcover). These books are also beautiful and look amazing on your shelf, the red is very evocative of Mozart I find.

No fingering
I was so busy comparing products that I missed it, even though the reviews clearly said no fingering. I work out fingering for myself, but with Mozart, it would have been nice to have a starting point. Then you cross them out and write your own.

Excellent Edition
This is the nicest edition that I've found, and I've looked at quite a few. The best part is the music is uncluttered and easy to read. If you're looking for an edition with lots of fingerings and phrasing by an editor, you'll be disappointed, since this edition has neither. However, if you're looking for an accurate good quality urtext, this is it.

Superior Edition of Mozart
Of the three editions I own of the Mozart Sonatas (Peters, Broder, and Barenreiter), this one is clearly the best. The scholarship behind the text is impeccable, and the print is clear and clean. The result is worth the extra one must pay for this version. It is important to note that most of the Barenreiter editions do not have fingering, unless the composer himself included the fingering. There is no fingering in this edition.
