Here's a satisfying activity for any beginning student, but especially useful for a student who might have learning challenges or issues with focus. This is a bare bones approach of associating a different color with each black key.
No focus on learning key names or finger numbers at this point.
We are only developing the foundations of sight-reading by using color dots.
Additional activities will soon be available for using this color dot system. This activity is intended to create a delightful experience for the new learner!
