Skillful Arranging for Ensemble Support
This Rick Stitzel arrangement of Moon River is a beautifully crafted piece for a beginning jazz ensemble. While it's a full band chart, the 'skillful scoring and rich harmonies' ensure the melody (often played by a lead instrument) is well-supported throughout. A Delightful and Achievable Jazz Ensemble Experience!
I absolutely love playing Moon River, and this Rick Stitzel arrangement of Henry Mancini's classic is just wonderful! Being a 'Beginning' (Level 1.5) piece, it's genuinely easy enough for our community group to sound fantastic without too much struggle. The rich harmonies really make it feel authentic, and the online audio helps us practice. So much fun to play!

Solid, Playable Ensemble Charts
For a beginning jazz ensemble set, these charts by Rick Stitzel are very practical. Moon River is a standard wedding request, and this easy 3/4 arrangement means less rehearsal time.
