Terrific!
There's a reason these exercises have been in print for over 100 years. They are absolutely delightful for making real music with a relatively inexperienced pianist. The teacher is a perfect accompaniment to the simplicity of the student part.

Diabelli Melodious Ex., Op 149 - 4 Hands
This is a wonderful collection of 4-hand pieces. The primo is in a 5-finger position, with only slight variations, so they work really well for young students too. This book is great for introducing the classics to students and always a recital favorite, especially when a child can play primo as their parent plays the secondo. I've used this collection in my teaching for over 35 years and nearly every student I teach gets this book. After they complete all of the primos, many students are able to handle the secondos too. Good exposure to interesting rhythms too. Works well for students on nearly all levels!
