Excellent Series
I am an organist, who has been out of music for 20+ years. I love the assortment of pieces in all degrees of difficulty. I am learning all over the basics and have found this book to be perfect. J S Bach has always been my favorite composer and this fits right into my genre.

Best Edition for Young Students
This is the finest urtext edition to give to a young student just starting to be able to use original editions. This version shows the C clef along side the treble clef. Many students do not realize that Bach wrote with the C clef to avoid having to write leger lines. This is a great way to introduce that. The true composers are shown in this edition as well. Most students think J S Bach wrote everything in this book. He didn't.The figured bass is shown for some of the pieces. That is another first for some students.
