Love This!
Reasons I love this book: *The arrangements are very easy for an intermediate player - so they are ready for church playing within a week.*Although they are easy - they are interesting and there's plenty of room for your own improvising.*These are all two page or one page... NO PAGE TURNING! YEAH!*Fun to play and easy enough for alot of expression and emotion to be added*I love the download option - got to practicing right away

Great Book
IMHO the title is misleading. Most are not jazzy but rather contemporary voicing. Well worth the price - great arrangements!

Jazzy Hymn Arrangements Book Two
Book two contains the same quality arrangements as Jazzy Hymn Arrangements Book Two. I love playing them and using them for personal reflection and worship. I can't wait to get my students to order the books, so they can begin playing these wonderful arrangements.

The title
Phil's arrangements bring new life and feeling to the old hymns we hear and sing every week. I feel we become so used to them that they lose their impact on us. Phil's arrangements bring the love and feeling back to our beloved hymns. I highly rate these arrangements to the intermediate pianist.

Beautiful Hymns
I just purchased Jazzy Hymns 2 because I have so enjoyed Jazzy Hymns 1. These old familiar hymns hold meaning, and then to have the rich harmonics of the touch of jazz to them makes them even more precious. I am not an accomplished pianist by any means, but so enjoy being able to play these jazzy hymns for my own enjoyment. I highly recommend this second book by Phil Hamm.
