Mompour - 31 Pieces for Piano
This is a fascinating and varied collection of Mompou's unique compositions, his pieces of character and strangely appealing harmonies. Almost jazz, with a bit of French and Spanish influences, enigmatic and compelling. I admit that I wasn not even aware of this composer until my son introduced him by playing a few of these gems. A new discovery for me and highly recommended.
