Christmas Time arr. F. Butchel
This collection has been around for ever, literally. It is an excellent collection of traditional Christmas music to be used in instrumental ensembles for caroling or for a band to use for community sing-a-longs. You will not find a better collection for this purpose or at this price. Can be used in trios and quartets nicely. You will not find a better price anywhere for this purpose. The only drawback I have found is that there are no 2nd parts for trombone or horn, nor a 4th part for horn. If you wanted a bone quartet you would have to settle for a trio; or for a horn quartet, no 2nd or 4th part. You can buy solo parts for every instrument. There are so many ways to use this collection. Every year our community band breaks up into Red Kettle small ensembles and man the various stations for the Salvation Army one day. These books are excellent.
