Looking for intriguingly beautiful intermediate violin holiday duets?
Sailing Into Bethlehem: Christmas Duets for Two Violins gives you a chance to play the carols you love with your teacher, your students, or your friends. Weaving melodies with accompaniment, Myanna Harvey has created a Christmas book in the style of Flying Fiddle Duets for Two Violins.
Playable, enjoyable, and performable, these duets are a welcome addition to the existing violin Christmas music available. This book is written for an early-intermediate to intermediate level and is entirely in first position.
Know any violists or cellists? You can pick up a copy of the viola book or the cello book and play with those instruments as well; the violin book is fully compatible with the viola and cello books!
Like this book? Try the companion book Dancing Into Bethlehem: Christmas Duets for Two Violins for even more enchanting carol arrangements!

I love everything I've seen by C Harvey Publications, and this book is no exception! There are a couple of measures before the actual tune starts that give the listener an introduction to the feel of that piece. I play and teach both violin and viola, and these are excellent books for playing recreationally, teaching with fresh repertoire, and performing at gigs. Advanced players will enjoy sight-reading these, intermediate players can learn these. There are some that may be within reach of an earlier intermediate violinist, there are some that may be more appropriate for late intermediate/early advanced, and there are some in between. These are simply joyful to play and listen to, while providing a challenge for some intermediate players and not boring advanced players. Great book!
