Pass on This One
Perfect binding means the book won't stay open on the stand. A little cost cutting by Mel Bay means major frustration for the player. In addition: many mistakes--tab doesn't match notation, wrong number of beats per measure, accidentals not correct. And the tab has no stems or beams, so you have to look at the notation line to get the rhythms, while looking at the tab for the fingerings. Not so much as a word about tempo, playing style, origin. Overall, a big disappointment.
