Composed by Tomohiro Tatebe. Brass. Ensemble. Score & parts. Duration 4:30. Bravo Music #ENMS-84213. Published by Bravo Music (BZ.ENMS-84213).
Commissioned by Ensemble Fanfare, an active brass and percussion group in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture. The work premiered in concert in 2005. This ensemble has great playing skill and ability and a diverse repertoire. They also enthusiastically commission many composers to continue pioneering in this field. The song depicts the concept "hope" requested by the then young members considering my own simplicity. The song begins with a calm, distant introduction, followed by a fast and nimble part, and ends in Maestoso. At the time of composition, the song was a combination of the members' and my thoughts, "In a world of dark news, at least music should be bright and hopeful ...", and favorite bright motifs from my other works are quoted as well. When performing, please pay attention to the balance of harmony and play freely and brightly. (Tomohiro Tatebe).
