Suite For Tuba - Don Haddad
Wonderful piece that explores the heroic, sonorous, and lyrical qualities of the KING of the brass family. I played this on my senior recital in 1973 and it is still a favorite.

I bought the music for my son to practice with and use for his Nyssma test. It was exactly what he wanted. Came on time. All good.

Suite for Tuba Don Haddad
This piece is a masterpiece for tuba. Each movement has its challenges including rhythm, range and musicality. If you can master each movement, you're ready for more advanced playing. I wish Haddad had written more pieces for tuba and concert band.....

looks like a great piece to play
I'm a freshman in college, and I was looking for a piece to play on CC tuba that wouldn't be anything too hard/high, like the Vaughn Williams, or too easy. This piece, from what I can see, gives me plenty of challenges in my playing without it being too overwhelming. I intend on performing this piece in May for my Jury, and it was recommended by my tuba professor.
