Great book with very usable pieces. Well-edited.
Arrived with bent corners! Inferior packaging. This is not at all fair to customer who pays full price.

A Very Good Book
I think that this is a good compilation of some of Beethoven's best works. I purchased it when I was about nine and it has been my favourite music book since, and my most-used. The pieces are arranged more-or-less in order of difficulty, making it a good book to progress through while learning, and the music is clear and easy to read. I also enjoyed reading the notes at the beginning of the book and at the beginning of each piece. This book has made Beethoven's works a joy to learn.

Do enjoy this anthology!
Yes, this has some excellemt material. The music is easy to read, and of course, a joy to play. There's some repertoire duplication with other Alfred Bethoven collections, but this book contains some introductory notes on each piece that I very much appreciate (the notes don't always appear in that appealing a form in the other books). Bravo, Alfred! I recommend this anthology.
