Nice to play along with a harpsichord
I prefer to play Bach with harpsichord, so these were a nice addition to a performing repertoire of music minus one. It changes it up from the usual piano accompaniments; a big plus for a music minus one concert go-er who already is coping with only one face to watch. The chosen tempos are acceptable. The keyboard performer is very good. It's disappointing that there are no complete Bach sonatas represented. I couldn't find any 3 movements that went together tonally to play in sequence! One downside is that the keyboardist returned to the beginning following repeats (or was it the sound engineer?) without leaving adequate time for a good breath, as I would have done in performance. This made the fast movements sound a bit frantic. There is also a piano track on the disc if you like a choice.
