wonderful collection
I just received this excellent collection of Christmas solos. The pieces have very interesting arrangement of the original tunes, are very well done and fun to play. Perfect for playing in church or Christmas gigs. Very good on Alto flute as well as C flute.

Good for concerts and recitals
Used two works from Nishimura Sacred Flutist on last faculty holidays concert. Well-received by colleagues and students amidst more serious fare. Programmatic and appealing, intermediate, my studio especially enjoyed them for our last fun class.

Absolutely perfect
I bought this book along with The Sacred Flutist, also by Judy Nishimura. Just like that other volume, this collection is absolutely perfect. Not only do I enjoy just playing through the pieces alone at home, but they are perfect for church services. Also, impromptu family recitals, or, really anywhere somebody might want to hear beautiful flute music. Great variety, this book should be in every flutist's library.
