Artistic Studies, Book 1 From the French School
An indespensible resource for someone hoping to get serious about the clarinet. I had heard about this book for a long time and finally, am happy I ordered it. It has, in just a few reading sessions, improved my technique and approach already. The editorial comments and explanations are valuable as well.

Great Etude Book
I originally got this book as a All-State audition book, but I've learned that it is so much better than that. I've practiced many of the etudes in between pieces that I'm working on in band, and the challenge of the music is perfect for an intermediate player who is looking to become proficient on their clarinet. I highly recommend this to every clarinet player as a basic in their repertoire.
