Love This
Love this movement. And the best part (for me anyways as a tuba player) is I do get the melody at times; which is always a plus. So say good by to the common oom-pah-pah part and have a challenge for your low brass section

Across the Halfpipe
Across the Halfpipe is an accurate depiction of what it would be like to ski the slopes of Minnesota. Samuel R. Hazo does a most excellent job of fusing the sounds and themes of a bitter winter in the upper mid-west. This is a must play for any concert band looking to travel to the icy, snowy mountains of Minnesota.
