The opening pastoral scene is augmented with bird whistles, duck calls, and whatever wildlife your percussion section can conjure up. A series of trumpet calls, followed by a chorus of "A Hunting We Will Go" leads us into the frenzy of the hunt, complete with barking dogs and the galloping of horse hooves. Great fun for the band and especially your audience, this is a lighter, "tongue in cheek" selection for all.
