This accessible arrangement of the first movement of Autumn from “The Four Seasons” is written for string orchestra and works equally well as a lively concert item or an enjoyable addition to developing ensemble repertoire.
The energetic character and rhythmic vitality of the original are preserved, while the technical demands are carefully adapted to make the piece practical for school, youth and community string orchestras. The arrangement allows each section to engage with the musical material, encouraging confident ensemble playing and stylistic awareness at an early-intermediate level and above.
To increase flexibility for ensembles of varying sizes, an additional Violin 3 part (doubling the viola line) is included, making the piece ideal for groups without viola players or with unbalanced sections.
