A masterpiece
Some of the 20th centuries best piano music, often overlooked by pianists, by one of the 20th centuries very best composers. A great edition of the pieces, clear and easy to read. Worth every penny of this relatively expensive edition.

Buy this book!!
This opus is one of my favorites ever. It's just fantastic what Shostakovich is able to do. The pieces range from being playful and light to serene or villainous. The pages themselves are of noticeably incredible quality. I've heard it said that European paper is better than American paper, and that must be true because this book is of such great quality. Some of the articulations could be a little clearer, but this is still a wonderful book. Some of the pieces are difficult but others are simpler. Buy this book. The pieces are very well-done.
