equally useful as other volumes
I have been playing from three other volumes in this set (books 1-3) for years, both at my church and in recitals, and cannot say enough good things about how outstanding these settings are. Wood always had great respect for the tunes and yet these pieces are very varied and approachable. I was not aware of this particular set, though, until I saw it on the Sheet Music Plus site, so I ordered it--still working my way through the collection, but have already used the Ash Grove setting as an offertory, and find many other tunes in here that my people will love. GET THESE! They will become a rock solid backbone of your hymn prelude collection!
