So Fun to Play Along with Wicked!
I absolutely love this "Wicked" flute book! It's so much fun to play the songs from the show, and the arrangements are enjoyable and achievable for a weekend player like me. Good book, waste of a CD
The sheetmusic for Wicked is wonderful to have. Sure, some of the arrangements might need to be re-arranged by the player when they vary too much from the familiar Braodway versions, but the foundation is strong and enjoyable. However, the play-along CD is a waste. The use of the xylophone for the voice of the songs was completely inappropriate for the music. Either pick and instrument that compliments the music better, or, better still, give the songs in the instrument of the book--in this case, the flute. It would have been a much more supportive use of the technology.
