Fantastic product
This is everything you'd expect from a Henle - unparalleled binding, beautiful engraving, paper, and printing quality. The softcover will fray and wear over time so consider the hardcover if you need it to last forever. Being Bach, this and the Barenreiter are the best editions you can get and so there is no question of notational accuracy. Do note the NO FINERING however, I thought that this could be a fun fingering exercise to do, since having purchased book II with fingering I can certainly say fingering can be nice to have

An edition worthy of this masterwork
You get what you pay for. Everything about this edition is first class. Very good paper, sewn binding that really allows the pages to open flat (other editions have 'sewn bindings' but don't open flat very well), crystal clear printing. And excellent editorial notes--appropriately relegated to appendices. But Bach did change his mind here and there--what are the options? Why did the editors choose the reading that appears in the main score? It's all there.
