Solid Arrangement for Performances
This 'Warsaw Concerto' duet set is a solid, faithful rendition for advanced performers. While not a typical 'gig book' due to its SMP Level 10 demands, it's perfect for a formal event or concerto performance with a second pianist. The separate parts are well-laid out, and the orchestral reduction in Piano II is expertly done, making it ready for serious concert work. Essential for any classical gigging pianist's repertoire.

Superb Two-Piano Collaboration
As a collaborative pianist, finding good duo-piano arrangements is key. This 'Warsaw Concerto' set is superb. Piano II, the orchestral reduction, provides a rich, supportive texture without overwhelming the solo Piano I part. The balance is well-managed, allowing for expressive interplay. It’s an advanced piece (SMP Level 10), but the clear parts make collaboration a pleasure, effectively capturing Addinsell's cinematic grandeur.

Exactly what you're looking for...
The piano II part is a reduction of the original orchestra part. The piano I part is the original piano part, with optional notes from the orchestra that couldn't be included in the reduction. If you're looking to learn the original concert version of the concerto, look no further. I just performed this with Erik Leidzen's band arrangement as my last piano performance of music school (I also wrote my undergraduate thesis on this piece!), and I learned it and practiced it with my teacher with this version. The experience was so rewarding, and although it is challenging (when do you ever play rapid arpeggios on a Fr+6 chord, in both hands at the same time, with each hand beginning on different notes of the chord!?), once you learn its tricks, it's not that difficult to pull off.

Love This Piece!
I think this may be the most epic piece I have ever laid my fingers on. It's very exciting and beautiful. The music is very helpful. It has large print and has many helpful fingerings and even optional or alternative parts.
